Saturday, March 6th, 2010

Friends of Panik kindly informed us of a night held by Shaun Bass of Neon Skullz.  Which promises to be a BIG ONE!

After their last party, Aztecs on Acid Neon Skullz thought it was time for another night of fancy dress mayhem or in their words,

“another psychotropic soup of Global Ghetto beats, Transcendental dance,
neo-tribal ceremonies, insane fancy dress and otherworldly artwork.”

The venue is being kept secret until tonight, so get in touch via the Facebook Link or calling Shaun direct on 07728614291.

As well as all the delicious ear candy and heavy basslines that you will be party to, there promises to be some floor entertainment in the shape of:

House of Billiam – Bespoke Hoodies

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

Thomas Bird has had an interest in clothes since he was about 14.  After studying philosophy at York University he decided that he wanted to make clothes for a living.  He taught himself how to design, cut patterns and sew on his mum’s sewing machine.  Now Bird who has had his site up and running for over a year produces bespoke clothes made from suit fabrics and an array of linings.  All of which you choose!

House of Billiam has had much press exposure and Panik got to him rather late in the day.  It was worth posting though as House of Billiam seems to be going from strength to strength.  He has dressed people from 16-60 and has a rather simple yet effective pricing system, depending on how bespoke you want the piece to be and how big your wallet is.

His work has been worn from BMX Flatland riders to being worn as on Skins (yes, the Channel 4 TV series) and a lot of people of note in between.

You can see more of House of Billiam’s work here and on Myspace

Panik loves… House of Billiam

Below are some examples of some of the items he has produced…  Go to the site to see much much more!

Travel Fox – High Tops

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Travel Fox

There has been much chatter about the re-emergence of the overly colourful high top training shoe.  Jude Law wears colourful high tops, oooooooooh!  When I was a kid I always wanted a pair of Travel Fox hi-tops, but alas like so many things in my childhood they were far too expensive, so there was no point in asking for a pair of Nike Air Force 1s then?  I was lucky enough to pick up a pair of these oh so rare (there’s not even any pics of them online – hence the image of my rather grubby pair!) a year oh so ago.  People in their late 20s become reminiscent and those younger give it the ‘those trainers are so peng blud!’  There is no doubt; these are the best high tops!

If you can find a pair – lucky you!

If you can’t look at these…
